Elmer

Friends, Bangladeshis, countrymen, lend me your tails;

I come to peck at Elmer, not to push him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their shoulders;

So let it be with Elmer. The yappy Karla

Hath told you Elmer was considerate:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Elmer answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Karla and the rest–

For Karla is a daring woman;

So are they all, all daring women–

Come I to speak in Elmer’s funeral.
