Buddy

Friends, Angolans, countrymen, lend me your intestines;

I come to exclude Buddy, not to dismay him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their guts;

So let it be with Buddy. The disagreeable Bruce

Hath told you Buddy was ungainly:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Buddy answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Bruce and the rest–

For Bruce is a disagreeable man;

So are they all, all disagreeable men–

Come I to speak in Buddy’s funeral.
