Elmer

Friends, Slovakians, countrymen, lend me your appendixes;

I come to appease Elmer, not to scare him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their gall bladders;

So let it be with Elmer. The bald Brad

Hath told you Elmer was gregarious:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Elmer answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Brad and the rest–

For Brad is a humble man;

So are they all, all humble men–

Come I to speak in Elmer’s funeral.
