Jesse

Friends, Poles, countrymen, lend me your hands;

I come to split up with Jesse, not to date him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their spinal cords;

So let it be with Jesse. The loving Lianlin

Hath told you Jesse was somber:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Jesse answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Lianlin and the rest–

For Lianlin is a rapacious woman;

So are they all, all rapacious women–

Come I to speak in Jesse’s funeral.
