Jeremy

Friends, Argentinians, countrymen, lend me your funny bones;

I come to belittle Jeremy, not to outwit him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their lips;

So let it be with Jeremy. The spunky Douglas

Hath told you Jeremy was vivacious:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Jeremy answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Douglas and the rest–

For Douglas is an obedient man;

So are they all, all obedient men–

Come I to speak in Jeremy’s funeral.
