Nelly

Friends, Laotians, countrymen, lend me your livers;

I come to harass Nelly, not to trick her.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their tummies;

So let it be with Nelly. The enchanting Guy

Hath told you Nelly was conscientious:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Nelly answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Guy and the rest–

For Guy is a cunning man;

So are they all, all cunning men–

Come I to speak in Nelly’s funeral.
