Alyssa

Friends, Nigerians, countrymen, lend me your chins;

I come to judge Alyssa, not to quarrel with her.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their claws;

So let it be with Alyssa. The sanguine Avery

Hath told you Alyssa was unruffled:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Alyssa answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Avery and the rest–

For Avery is a young woman;

So are they all, all young women–

Come I to speak in Alyssa’s funeral.
