Ethan

Friends, Egyptians, countrymen, lend me your jaws;

I come to imitate Ethan, not to question him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their knees;

So let it be with Ethan. The friendly Greta

Hath told you Ethan was pesky:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Ethan answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Greta and the rest–

For Greta is an impish woman;

So are they all, all impish women–

Come I to speak in Ethan’s funeral.
