Celeste

Friends, Sri Lankans, countrymen, lend me your hands;

I come to block Celeste, not to belittle her.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their thumbs;

So let it be with Celeste. The dismal Pete

Hath told you Celeste was princely:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Celeste answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Pete and the rest–

For Pete is an arrogant man;

So are they all, all arrogant men–

Come I to speak in Celeste’s funeral.
