Hattie

Friends, Greeks, countrymen, lend me your front teeth;

I come to ostracize Hattie, not to fool her.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their lips;

So let it be with Hattie. The miniscule Kyle

Hath told you Hattie was charming:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Hattie answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Kyle and the rest–

For Kyle is a spindly man;

So are they all, all spindly men–

Come I to speak in Hattie’s funeral.
