Joseph

Friends, Liechtensteinians, countrymen, lend me your guts;

I come to draw strength from Joseph, not to disinfect him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their waists;

So let it be with Joseph. The generous Brooke

Hath told you Joseph was conscientious:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Joseph answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Brooke and the rest–

For Brooke is a stern woman;

So are they all, all stern women–

Come I to speak in Joseph’s funeral.
