Lee

Friends, South Sudanese, countrymen, lend me your hands;

I come to amuse Lee, not to draw strength from him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their aortas;

So let it be with Lee. The bellicose Nicole

Hath told you Lee was self-assured:

If it were so, it was a grievous fault,

And grievously hath Lee answer’d it.

Here, under leave of Nicole and the rest–

For Nicole is a resolute woman;

So are they all, all resolute women–

Come I to speak in Lee’s funeral.
