fourteen and we were perfect
together best friends and there was love
movies and mountain dew and pizza.
fourteen and nothing could change.

fifteen and we started again
the golden days, leaves falling
a new house and new responsibilities

different perspectives on everything
confusion and pain and other interests.

never to fall like that again.
