Dragon Bones The Royal British Columbia Museum is impressive. It is both a history and a natural history museum. We were there during their special exhibit, "Dragon Bones: When Dinosaurs Ruled China." We were able to stroll about the dinosaurs and chat with paleontologists and docents. Chinese Dinosaurs
Poles Poles There were impressive natural history dioramas, and exhibits of the aboriginal peoples of B.C. We saw a great many "poles", both within the museum and elsewhere. You may remember the photo of poles in Vancouver Airport. Evidently, they are no longer called "totem poles".

If you get a chance, be sure to get a sandwich or the Ploughman's Lunch at Sam's Deli. And, for dinner, you can get great East Indian food at a place up Fort street.
